Project Description: Site work contractor for the installation of a 1.5 MW solar development on five sites owned by MassDOT.
Located along an extremely busy area of the Mass Turnpike (US I-90) at or near Exit 13 Speen Street in Framingham, the sites utilized land within the highway right-of-way. Other challenges, including difficult access, multiple mobilizations, and working in winter conditions during a record snowfall during the winter of 2014–2015. TFCI prepared the sites, constructed access roads and staging areas, and performed all trenching and site restoration. The solar arrays were ground mounted using TerraSmart ground screws.
